What we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to trade with you.

Enquiry and quote details — name, work email, phone, company, designation, city, and what you tell us about your requirement, budget and timeline.
Order details — billing and delivery address, GSTIN, purchase order reference, and the items ordered.
Technical information — IP address and basic request metadata, used to rate-limit our public forms and block automated abuse.

We do not collect or store card or bank credentials on this website. Orders placed here are settled by bank transfer or purchase order against an invoice we issue separately.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
To fulfil an order: supply, delivery, installation, invoicing and warranty registration.
To deliver a maintenance contract, including keeping an asset register and contacting the people named as your site contacts.
To meet legal and tax obligations, including retaining invoices for the period Indian tax law requires.
To protect our website from spam and abuse.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked us a technical question.
We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels on this website.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it is necessary to do the work:

Manufacturers and distributors — to register warranty or provision a licence in your name, we pass the minimum details required (typically company name, contact and serial numbers).
Logistics providers — delivery address and phone number, to deliver your order.
Service providers — our hosting, email and business software providers process data on our behalf under contract.
Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose.

Client data under a maintenance contract

Where we support your systems, our engineers may encounter personal data belonging to your organisation — in mailboxes, file shares, HR systems or surveillance footage. We treat that data as yours, not ours. We access it only as needed to perform the work, we do not copy it out of your environment except where a documented backup or migration requires it, and our engineers are bound by confidentiality obligations. Where you need a formal data processing agreement, we will sign one.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not proceed — retained for up to 24 months so we have context if you come back to us, then deleted.
Quotations — retained for up to 3 years for commercial reference.
Invoices and order records — retained for the period required by Indian tax and company law.
Asset registers and contract records — retained for the life of the contract and a reasonable period afterwards.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to sales@naveeninfotech.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the relevant data protection authority.

Cookies

This website uses cookies only where they are needed to make it work. A cart cookie remembers the items you have added; a quote cookie remembers the lines you are assembling. Both are set only when you add something, are readable only by our server, and expire on their own. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies that follow you across other websites.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Our systems are hosted with a reputable cloud provider, access to customer data is restricted to staff who need it, and administrative access requires multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply the same standards to ourselves that we recommend to clients.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Where the change affects how we handle data you have already given us, we will tell you directly.
